Join us for kayaking among the soaring cliffs and stunning scenery of Mount Desert Island and Down East Maine. Watch for bald eagles, puffins, seals and other wildlife. Discover why Outside Magazine named this the 2nd best place to seakayak in the country!

Use our kayaks and paddling gear, or bring your own (subject to our approval). Specific locations vary based on the weather. Minimal instruction provided. This is a terrific way to get a taste of sea kayak adventuring, Downeast style.

Experience Required: "Old" BCU 2-star skills or equivalent (basic boat handling, plus comfortable with a panic-free wet-exit)
