Kayak School - Learn to Kayak

Whatever your experience level, we have a class for you. In addition to original courses developed from our own experiences, we also offer a full complement of British Canoe Union (BCU) courses and specialty classes including instruction in traditional (Greenland-style) paddling, rolling and private instruction.

• Getting Started Series - Novice/Beginners
• Tune-up Series - early skills development
• Masters Series - for the more trained and experienced
• Specialty Series - Greenland
• Coastal Day Trips - Experience the beauty of the Maine coast.  Minimum instruction, Maximum enjoyment
  
• Downeast Adventures - Our multi-day sea kayaking offerings.   From instruction intensive, hard-core adventure, or a more relaxed camping trip.  If you're coming all this way, why not stay a while? 
• BCU Trainings and Assessments
  Carpe Diem has always been able to offer a wide range of BCU Trainings and Assessments.  We will continue to offer these during this year of change for BCUNA.  Check here often as we will continue to update our offerings as we get new information on the changes to BCU.
• ACA Instruction - We have ACA certified instructors.  If you need an ACA course specifically, please call 207-669-2338 to make arrangements.
