Symposium Cancellation Policy

Carpe Diem Kayaking is proud to be offering the 5th Annual Downeast Sea Kayaking Symposium September 10-13, 2010.  September is the loveliest of seasons in Maine, and Bar Harbor offers a vast and fairly consistent set of conditions suitable for all level of classes we’ll be offering during the symposium.  But we can’t control Mother Nature—she doesn’t even take our calls!  We realize that many factors other than weather might come up to prevent you from attending—illness, family emergencies, business, natural disasters, the sudden realization that you can’t possibly come to Bar Harbor since you’d never want to leave such a fabulous place.  But to provide the best possible experience for you, we’ll be committed to coaches and all sorts of service providers.  So…no refunds will be given for any reason after August 1st.  We strongly recommend you purchase trip insurance.  For cancellations before August 1st we can offer a 75% refund.
